NYC's Lukka came by to cut our 235th Direct-To-Vinyl Office Session. Franzi (vocals & guitar) along with Heidi (keys/vocals), Ash (guitar) and Frank (bass) cruised through 6 takes each of 2 different songs, "Tin Can" and "Business" for a grand total of 12 cuts. Franzi also cut a super-special performance of "Mississippi Blues" for her husband.
Each of these 13 takes were cut directly to their own individual 7" vinyl record, and only one copy of each take exists in the world.
Our limited edition lathe cut record releases are made on a modified antique record cutting lathe from the 1950's. Each record is handmade, one at a time, in real time, by a real person.
