Nomadic singer-songwriter James Lanman dropped by to cut our 133rd Direct-To-Vinyl Office Session. We opted to run a preorder for James' session, and cut each of these records specifically for their purchaser.
And since we had a few extra minutes, we decided to cut one extra song, a cover of "Georgia On My Mind", which is available here.
Each of these 8 super-exclusive takes were cut directly to their own individual 7" vinyl record, and only one copy of each take exists in the world.
Our limited edition lathe cut record releases are made on a modified antique record cutting lathe from the 1950's. Each record is handmade, one at a time, in real time, by a real person.
