Carly and Danny of Brooklyn's Julep Maisey dropped by to file our 97th Direct-To-Vinyl Office Session. For their session the duo cruised through 3 takes each of 4 different songs, plus a one-of-a-kind unreleased interpretation of a Nirvana hit, for a grand total of 13 cuts.
Each of these 13 takes were cut directly to their own individual 7" vinyl record, and only one copy of each take exists in the world.
The records also included a custom insert designed by Carly!
Our limited edition lathe cut record releases are made on a modified antique record cutting lathe from the 1950's. Each record is handmade, one at a time, in real time, by a real person.
