Direct-To-Vinyl Shut-In Session Preorder: Britt Arnesen
This project is a response to the devastating effect Covid-19 has had on the sustainability of independent artists worldwide. Please consider supporting this wonderful artist!
We were thrilled to partner with Britt Arnesen for our latest initiative, Shut-In Sessions, a very new and relevant project developed on the heels of the Covid-19 Pandemic. With live show and touring revenue streams absolutely devastated, now more than ever, artists need sustainable ways to connect with their audience and create art. Shut-In Sessions create an exceedingly unique product for their fans while adding a revenue stream artists can safely execute from their homes. We hope you'll consider supporting this artist. They need you now more than ever.
This Shut-In Session was available exclusively via preorder, which has now closed. Here's how it works:
1. PICK YOUR SONG! You choose a song from the options below that you'd like the artist to record for you:
Let me surprise with a track from my not-yet-published acoustic gospel album to be released later this spring! Or, choose from my entire catalog of 100+ originals (view it at 907britt.bandcamp.com or youtube.com/907Britt). I am also offering these public domain songs that I do with my bluegrass band Pinegrass: I'll Fly Away, Hard Times Come Again No More, Don't This Road Look Rough & Rocky, Soon May the Wellerman Come, Angel Band and Richmond Blues.
2. ARTIST RECORDS! Artist will record an individual performance of your song in their home, complete with a personal message to you right in the recording!
3. WE CUT YOUR RECORD! After the preorder closes, we'll cut a 7" lathe cut vinyl record of your performance specifically for you. No two records will be the same and only one copy of each will be made. Your record will include your one-of-a-kind performance from Britt, cut specifically for you.
Quantities and time are limited, so don't sleep on this one.
Preorder Close Date: 3/18/21
