Ila Minori Limited Edition 7″ Lathe Cut Record
Often compared to artists the likes of Mazzy Star or Ani DiFranco, Ila Minori is a Mexican-American singer-songwriter whose music features intimate folk-pop sounds and touching personal stories. Self-proclaimed Post-Art/Rock the single “Plastic Hearts” was written in the Trentino Alps of Northern Italy during Ila's writing excursion. The song touches on the subject of the daunting dating scene and nightlife. She sings about the struggle society has with being open with their emotions and reluctance of commitment but while living in a culture that’s addicted to love. "Plastic Hearts” shows society as merely a shell of monogamy and romance and is the featured single from the upcoming full-length album “Traveling with Ghosts.”
Our limited edition lathe cut record releases are made on a modified antique record cutting lathe from the 1950's. Each record is handmade, one at a time, in real time, by a real person.
