With Kami Dimitrova (vocals) and Yuka Tadano in tow, NYC's Mackenzie Shivers dropped by to cut our 179th Direct-To-Vinyl Office Session. For Mackenzie's session, this amazing trio cruised through a couple of takes of 8 different songs, for a grand total of 17 cuts.
Each of these 17 takes were cut directly to their own individual 7" vinyl record, and only one copy of each take exists in the world.
Our limited edition lathe cut record releases are made on a modified antique record cutting lathe from the 1950's. Each record is handmade, one at a time, in real time, by a real person.
