Based in Nashville, TN, Georgia English and the Jukebox Kids is a five-piece roots-soul group drawing on the traditions of Americana, Motown, Rock, and The Blues. Their new album Good Girls, released in January 2015, showcases ten original songs and one cover that blend confessional vulnerability with a playful sense of humor.
The group consists of Georgia English on guitar and vocals, Torey Harding on guitar, Hayden Cotcher on drums, Christine Moad on bass, and Jon Upton on piano and organ. Having all met in a traditional Acoustic Blues group, the band members are linked by a deep respect for American Roots music.
Georgia English and the Jukebox Kids bring authenticity and unforgiving energy to their shows. Their sets combine original material with arrangements of Bessie Smith, Jackie Wilson, The Band, and more. They play regularly in Nashville and tour frequently in the South and East coast.
